Any factory area can be zoned according to specific lighting requirements. In many industrial settings, the lighting intensity requirements will vary depending on the activity occurring in that area. As such, instead of installing lights with the same wattage in all areas, we will identify areas where lower wattage lights will suffice. This will help you distribute lighting intensity to where they are really needed, while also lowering electrical consumption costs.
In the example below, Zone A & B have work activities which require around 600 lux brightness. Here 30 units of Lumisky1- 100W 900 Linear High Bay lights are installed which will have an average 650 lux over these two zones.
Similarly, in Zone C & D where the nature of work requires a brighter light of 900 lux, 42 units of Lumisky1- 150W 900 Linear High Bay lights are installed which will have an average 1000 lux over these two zones. Lastly, Zone E where the storage area is situated, 16 units of Lumisky1- 150W 2x200 Linear High Bay lights are installed which will have an average of 400 lux over this zone. The passage way will also have their own lightings if the spilled-over light from the activity zones is not sufficient to meet the brightness level required.
Although different wattage/lumens of Lumisky1 Series Linear LED high bay lights are used, the sizing and dimensions are similar, maintaining a uniform appearance above ground level.
